About Romco Builders
The company behind Romco Demolition
This site is run by Romco Builders, a general contractor licensed in Florida. The company was founded in 2015 and has its headquarters in Fort Lauderdale.
Building is Romco's business. A demolition is usually the first of many trades on a project, so ours is planned as the opening move, with a scope, an order of work and a budget that continue into whatever gets built next.
Prices are written for any type of demolition and any size, whether that is one interior wall or an entire building. Every quote starts at the property: what has to go, what has to stay, who lives next door, and what the local permit office wants to see.
Our own crews carry out the site engineering: dewatering, Support of Excavation (the engineered system that stops a deep cut from caving in) and deep foundations, in tidal settings too. On a Gulf-coast or canal lot, with wet ground and close neighbors, that matters.

Where we draw the lines
- Romco Builders is licensed as a general contractor in Florida; ask for the license details when you request a quote.
- No price list is posted here. A number comes only after we have seen the property, photos or drawings.
- No completion date is promised. Permit review, utility letters, survey findings and weather are beyond any contractor's control, so you receive the sequence of work with each step's dependencies spelled out.
- Asbestos testing and removal are licensed trades done by separate firms. We schedule them but never do the work ourselves.
